Harfst Cattle, owned and operated by Jonathan and Jessica Harfst, is a purebred seedstock operation that strives to produce the next national champion, as well as donors and sires that are well respected in the industry.
Jon and Jess both have a strong history in the cattle business and animal agriculture. Jon grew up in central Illinois on a grain and Hereford cattle farm. Jessica grew up in Michigan and her love for purebred cattle began at a young age showing Angus females. They met at Michigan State University where they both received Animal Science degrees. Jon and Jess each experienced a great deal of success in their junior careers which has led them to continue their passion in the cattle business. In addition to breeding and raising seedstock, Jon and Jess also stay actively involved in the show industry by assisting their customers, helping junior members, and being involved in the Michigan and Illinois Hereford Associations. Jon enjoys judging and has evaluated cattle at numerous shows in the United States and Canada.
Harfst Cattle is located in central southern Michigan and is within minutes of interstates I-69 and I-94. We invite you to stop by any time.
